Add onion, and cook, stirring frequently, until onions\u00a0have become translucent, about 2-3 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, bread crumbs,\u00a0egg yolks, nutmeg and cooked onion; season with\u00a0salt and pepper, to taste. Using a wooden spoon or clean\u00a0hands, stir until well combined. Roll the mixture into meatballs.<\/p>\n<p>Add remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil to the skillet. Add\u00a0meatballs, in batches, and cook until all sides are browned,\u00a0about 4-5 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.<\/p>\n<p>To make the gravy, melt butter in the skillet. Whisk in flour\u00a0until lightly browned, about 1 minute. Gradually whisk in\u00a0beef broth and cook, whisking constantly, until slightly\u00a0thickened, about 1-2 minutes.
